There's nothing like gazing over the FDR drive during a break from work.  With a slight chill in the air, I was able to whip out one of my favorite versatile accessories: patterned tights.  Mix with some bright turquoise and it's summer ready.  I am obsessed with layering and mixing patterns, so this shirt and dress combo is the best of both worlds for me.

Let's back up a bit, shall we? We're Laura (at left) and Monique (at right). We've been best pals since we met as college tour guides. You can also call us by our nicknames: Dollie and Mo.

Laura is a writer who lives in Maine. Most of the clothes in her closet are vintage and thrifted. Monique is a therapist that lives in Manhattan. Most of her clothes are designer and from boutiques. 

We're constantly inspiring each other with what we wear. Though our styles are different, what we love is often the same. We've started this blog to share with each other what we wear on a daily basis - and to share it with all of you. We hope you enjoy it!
