Kimono Two Ways.

Jacket: H&M  Jeans: Rock & Republic  Shoes: Dolce Vita  Watch: Lacoste  Sunglasses: DVF

What's better than a brightly colored silk kimono-inspired jacket? One that's reversible! I am obsessed with this jacket. It's so easy to throw on and look polished and you get two different looks in one. I'm always on the hunt for a colored accent that works well with an all-black ensemble. All I need to add are some big shades and accessories.

Freaky Friday.

If we switched bodies for a day, here's what we'd wear.

Laura
If I was Mo, I'd take a style cue from her idol Blake Lively and rock a sequin mini, blazer and bootie combo. It's the perfect combo for a ladies night on the town. And of course, a designer bag on her arm wouldn't hurt.

Mo
If I was dollie, I'd wear this floral number. Her petite frame is ideal for this tight bodice and fuller skirt. I am obsessed with this all over floral pattern and mixing in another floral with the clutch. All she needs are some strappy sandals and bangles to finish the look.

Feeling Fancy.

Dress: Zara  Heels:  Kenneth Cole  Clutch:  Vintage

I wore this outfit to a dear friend's wedding recently. When it comes to dressing up, I almost always look for either a) fringe, b) sequins or c) an interesting back. Those are my go-to's when it's time to put on my Sunday best.

Note to self: Always bring pressed powder and a fan to summer weddings. Frizzy hair plus a sweaty face is not conducive to fashion blogging.

At The Outlets

Dress & cardigan: DVF  Flip flops: Marc Jacobs  Earrings: Boutique find  Ring: Forever 21
A breezy cotton dress with pockets is my "go to" weekend attire. All you need are simply accessories and comfy flip flops.

After a really draining work week, I can't think of a better way to spend my day off than at Woodbury Commons with gorgeous weather outside. For those of you who don't know the wonder of WC, it's like a shopping mall outside with quasi sample sale prices or at a discount. The highlight of my shopping trip is of course the DVF store. You will definitely see a trend in my wardrobe, that I have an unhealthy obsession with all things DVF. I can't even begin to describe the many reasons why I love DVF, from the colors, unique prints, universally flattering cuts/designs, and her inspiring mantras.

My aspiration is for my closet to look just like her store.... which most of my friends will say it almost does!
